Oh, that is what a hawthorn looks like. Beautiful! I'm sorry I missed the other photo. (Can there be such a thing as overkill when it comes to the loveliness of nature??)
I kept this post new on Bloglines so I could keep coming back to the sweet, deeply coloured, rich hawthorn flowers... two wasn't overkill at all, the more lush the merrier -:)

MB and Brenda: It was the preponderance of Lush that bothered me a little ... :-)
Can you have too much of even something like pink hawthorn? I don't know .....
I think maybe the "preponderance" seems only to be so because you have it right there with you... to me this is a rare and solitary glimpse!
