Courage
I am reaching the conclusion that courage at the moment comes simply in taking today's small, imperceptible but necessary steps; one at a time, moving forward.
Climb slowly, search for
next foothold, move, breathe and smile;
sun's warmth on your back.
Climb slowly, search for

sun's warmth on your back.

Hi Mary! Thanks for dropping by earlier, the understanding and your well wishes:)
Cheers!
Great thought today! You are right:
"Taking today's small, imperceptible but necessary steps; one at a time, moving forward."
I quote it and I will read regularly!
Thanks!
What a lovely compliment, Mary!
Would be great if you some day visit Brazil and take a cup of coffee with me at my home! You are welcome!
Apples: Cheers indeed!
Sonia: Thank you for your comment. If I ever do make it to Brazil, yes definitely we must have a coffee! :-)
That's a good way of describing, and looking at courage. One step at a time, indeed!
I think that may be the only way to do it. Rushing forward isn't courage, it's foolhardiness and it's trying to block out fear by rash action. No, one step at a time.
Yes. It's the small movements that make the big ones possible.
So much truth here.
I can take a lesson from this post, thank you!:)
Dale, Patry, Apples4me: many thanks.
Patry - renewed congratulations!
